SHIPPING POLICY

At GRI. Research Sciences, we aim to process and dispatch orders quickly, securely and discreetly. All orders are shipped using tracked delivery services so customers can follow their shipment from dispatch through to delivery.

2. ORDER PROCESSING

Orders are normally processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days after payment has been successfully received.

Orders placed during weekends or UK public holidays will normally begin processing on the next working day.

During exceptionally busy periods, product launches or public holidays, processing may take slightly longer.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation containing your tracking information.

UK DELIVERY

All UK orders are shipped using Royal Mail tracked services.

STANDARD DELIVERY — ROYAL MAIL TRACKED 48

Our Standard Delivery service is sent using Royal Mail Tracked 48®.

Royal Mail delivery aim: 2–3 working days after dispatch.

Tracked 48 includes:

  • Tracking from dispatch to delivery
  • Online delivery confirmation
  • Photo on delivery where available
  • Delivery notifications where available
  • Flexible Royal Mail delivery options where available

Please remember that the 2–3 working day timeframe is Royal Mail’s delivery aim and is not a guaranteed delivery time.

EXPRESS DELIVERY — ROYAL MAIL TRACKED 24

Our Express Delivery service is sent using Royal Mail Tracked 24®.

Royal Mail delivery aim: Next working day after dispatch.

Tracked 24 includes:

  • Tracking from dispatch to delivery
  • Online delivery confirmation
  • Photo on delivery where available
  • Delivery notifications where available
  • Flexible Royal Mail delivery options where available

Royal Mail Tracked 24 is a priority delivery service; however, next-working-day delivery is an aim rather than a guaranteed service.

Orders must first complete GRI.’s normal order processing period before being handed over to Royal Mail.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

ROYAL MAIL INTERNATIONAL TRACKED

International orders are shipped using Royal Mail International Tracked wherever the service is available for the destination.

Royal Mail’s current delivery aims are generally:

Europe: 3–5 working days after dispatch
Worldwide: 5–7 working days after dispatch

International Tracked includes:

  • International tracking
  • Tracking to the delivery point where supported
  • Online delivery confirmation
  • Delivery progress updates
  • Tracked handling throughout the postal network

International delivery times are estimates only.

Customs processing, local postal services, border inspections and other circumstances outside the control of GRI. or Royal Mail may result in longer delivery times.

3. TRACKING YOUR ORDER

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive your Royal Mail tracking information using the contact information supplied during checkout.

Tracking may take several hours after dispatch to become active within Royal Mail’s system.

Customers can use their tracking number through Royal Mail’s tracking service to follow the progress of their shipment.

4. SHIPPING ADDRESS

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address when placing an order.

Please check your:

  • Full name
  • House number/name
  • Street
  • Town or city
  • Postcode
  • Country

before completing checkout.

GRI. cannot accept responsibility for delivery problems caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

If you notice an error after placing your order, contact:

as soon as possible.

We will attempt to correct the address if the order has not yet been dispatched, but we cannot guarantee changes once processing has begun.

5. CUSTOMS, IMPORT DUTIES & TAXES

International orders may be subject to customs inspections, import duties, VAT, taxes, handling charges or other fees imposed by authorities in the destination country.

Unless otherwise stated during checkout, any such charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

Customers are responsible for checking the import requirements applicable to their destination before placing an order.

GRI. cannot control customs decisions or customs processing times and cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by customs authorities or international border agencies.

6. INTERNATIONAL IMPORT RESTRICTIONS

Customers placing international orders are responsible for ensuring that the products they purchase can legally be imported into their destination country.

Import regulations vary between countries and may change without notice.

GRI. cannot guarantee that customs authorities will permit entry of every shipment.

7. DELIVERY DELAYS

Royal Mail delivery times are delivery aims and not guarantees, unless a specific guaranteed service is expressly stated.

Delays may occur because of circumstances including:

  • Royal Mail network delays
  • International postal delays
  • Customs processing
  • Severe weather
  • Public holidays
  • Industrial action
  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses
  • Local delivery disruptions
  • Border inspections
  • Events outside our reasonable control

An order being delivered later than its estimated delivery window does not automatically mean that the shipment is lost.

8. LOST OR SIGNIFICANTLY DELAYED ORDERS

If your tracking has not updated for an extended period or your parcel appears to have been lost, please contact:

Include your order number and tracking number where possible.

GRI. may open an investigation with Royal Mail or the relevant delivery partner.

Where required, we may need to allow the carrier’s investigation process to be completed before a replacement or refund can be issued.

9. PACKAGES MARKED AS DELIVERED

If Royal Mail tracking shows your parcel as delivered but you cannot locate it, please:

  • Check your designated Safeplace
  • Check around the property
  • Check with other members of your household
  • Check with neighbours where appropriate
  • Review any Royal Mail delivery photograph
  • Contact Royal Mail if necessary

If required, contact us and we will assist with reasonable enquiries regarding the shipment.

10. DAMAGED ORDERS

If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:

Please provide:

  • Your order number
  • Photographs of the external packaging
  • Photographs of the damaged item(s)
  • A description of the problem

Please retain the original packaging while the issue is being investigated, as Royal Mail may require evidence.

11. RETURNED OR UNDELIVERABLE PARCELS

A parcel may be returned to GRI. if:

  • An incorrect address was supplied
  • The address was incomplete
  • Delivery was refused
  • The parcel was not collected
  • Royal Mail was unable to complete delivery
  • International customs requirements were not completed

Once the parcel has been returned to us, we will contact you regarding the available options.

Where a failed delivery was caused by incorrect information supplied by the customer, additional postage charges may apply before the order can be resent.

12. ORDER CANCELLATIONS

If you wish to cancel an order, contact us immediately at:

We will make reasonable efforts to cancel your order before dispatch.

However, we cannot guarantee cancellation once an order has entered fulfilment or has already been handed to Royal Mail.

13. DELIVERY ESTIMATES

For clarity, our primary shipping services are:

Delivery aim: 2–3 working days

UK Express Delivery
Royal Mail Tracked 24®
Delivery aim: Next working day

International Delivery
Royal Mail International Tracked
Europe delivery aim: 3–5 working days
Worldwide delivery aim: 5–7 working days

Delivery estimates begin after dispatch, not from the date the order was placed.

GRI.’s normal order processing time should therefore be added to the relevant Royal Mail delivery estimate.
